Overseeding introduces new grass seed to fill in bare or thin areas as well as thickening existing swards. Overseeding builds resistance to disease and prevents weeds

By introducing new and different strains of grass seed to replace plants that have been weakened or lost over time. Overseeding will rapidly improve your paddocks current appearance.

Overseeding with a good quality paddock mix will keep your grass to a consistently high standard. You will normally witness seed germination in 7-10 days from Broadcasting, (depending on weather conditions).

SDR Conservation use a selection of high quality paddock mix grass seeds to ensure that any seeding or overseeding results in an improved ley and a dense sward of top quality grass. The seeds are spread by the use of a seed broadcaster.

Occasionally there will be a need to plough or rotivate a paddock or field and plant a new ley of grass but the need can often be reduced or avoided by a regular regime of overseeding.
